Gourmet Gathering under the trees Chocolate, Wine, and Grove-to-Table Dining

Come enjoy an enchanting dining experience on Friday, April 29, 2016 from 7:00 – 9:30 pm at the Grimal Grove, 258 Cunningham Lane, Big Pine Key.
Delight your taste buds and your health with fresh locally-sourced foods, many harvested that day from the Grimal Grove. This tapas style culinary event will fascinate as guests learn how to use produce grown in the Florida Keys in our cooking and chocolate making demonstrations led by Chef Chris Lordi and Chocolatier Eric Gilbert.
This special evening will also include great live music, beer, wine, and tropical fruit juices.
Eat, Drink, Learn and Be Merry for the only Grove-to-Table/ Bean-to-Bar soiree this season in the Florida Keys.
VIP Reception begins at 6:30 pm, includes chocolate martinis and a private tour of the Grimal Grove with CEO Patrick Garvey, as well as a meet and greet with the Chef and Chocolatier.

- Bilimbi and key lime conch salad with plantain strips
- Grilled purple Thai longbeans and eggplant with anise basil, honey garlic butter and roasted jackfruit seeds
- Fresh green blend with key lime and local honey vinaigrette, mango and plantain crisps
- Grilled jumbo shrimp with mamey sapote and Chinese 5-spice BBQ sauce
- Local grilled fish with mango chilli chutney
- Barbecued pulled jackfruit with Cuban red banana bbq sauce in lettuce leaves, pickled red onion, and potato sticks
- Banana leaf wrapped smoked beef brisket with organic cacao and espresso-infused Florida Keys Sea Salt with rainbow carrots
- Caribbean jerk chicken cooked over allspice wood with escovitch vegetables
